Mountain Springs Lodge: Venue Information

Nestled just north of Leavenworth, WA is the gorgeous wedding venue Mountain Springs Lodge. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot here many times over the years: weddings and elopements.

I’m writing this post to share some example photos and share some information about the venue.

Spring/Summer Weddings:

Leavenworth in the summer is a fantastic time to visit. Sunny days, late sunsets, and lots of greenery. At Mountain Springs Lodge, it’s also a great time to plan your wedding. If you’re looking for a sunny, warm,  and outdoor celebration; this is a great choice.

Plus, partying outside with your family/friends is always fun. They chose to have their reception by the pond which was a fantastic backdrop of greenery.

With long summer nights, it’s easy to sneak off for sunset photos.

Fall Weddings:

Fall colors at Mountain Springs Lodge.

Fall at Mountain Springs Lodge is something spectacular. The aspen trees bloom wonderfully and you’re surrounded by some of the best fall colors in the area.

Even if your wedding date slightly misses the peak bloom; the colors are still fantastic:

When fall rolls around in the Pacific Northwest, it can be hard to predict if the weather will cooperate fully. The good news is that a moody PNW day fits the aesthetic of Mountain Springs Lodge well. The mix of wood with the cabins/lodges and the greenery go very well together. Add a bit of fog and you’ve got a really fun color palette.

If your wedding day has a bit of overcast weather, that can also be great for photos and definitely won’t hinder your celebration:

Winter Weddings:

If you’re dreaming of a winter wedding, Mountain Springs Lodge can be a fantastic choice. Leavenworth is a dreamy paradise in the snow. The brown from the cabins really pops against the white and green backdrop.

If you’re brave enough for an outdoor ceremony, the reward can be beautiful:

If you’re fortunate enough to get a sunny day; that can be absolutely gorgeous mix with snow:

Plus, if you choose, you can go on a sleigh ride through the woods. It’s a nice romantic touch to end your wedding day.

Overall, Mountain Springs Lodge is a beautiful venue year round. It’s a fantastic option if you’re looking for an outdoor venue and want to be surrounded by a natural color palette.
